3 question blog 11/24

1. What tasks have you completed recently? - recently in class we did a very cool experiment where we took multiple elements and put them into flasks to see what there reaction would be.  2. What have you learned recently? - recently we have learned how to figure out the periodic properties. 3. What are you planning yo do to further your understanding? - I intend to go over my notes and make sure that I fully understand how to figure periodic properties and if I still don't I might wanna print out practice problems to work on on my own. mark rodriguez 1st period 1.What question were you trying to answer. - is reactivity a periodic property? 2..what did you do during your investigations and why did you conduct it n this way? -during our experiment we dropped multiple different elements into very small glasses with only one making a very noticeable difference. we also heated the glasses up with the elements inside to see what would happen. 3.claim = reactivity is a periodic property reasoning = they have the same patterns in rows and in columns in the periodic table. placement would determine the trend so when at goes down and to the left it increases evidence =  elements column row reactions Reactivity rank sodium 1 3 Fizzed, dissolved, moved on surface 2 magnesium 2 3 Bubbled up 4 potassium 1 4 Sparked, smoked, saw flame.

1, what tasks have you completed recently? Recently we have completed a rather simple task, we completed the periodic table coloring packet. 2, what have you learned recently? Recently we have learned about the periodic table and the elements on the periodic table. 3, what are you planning on doing next to improve my understanding? I plan to continue to pay attention in class and study the periodic table in the future.
