Water electrolysis write up

Does electrolyising  water produce equal amounts of hydrogen and oxygen gas?  No water does not produce equal amounts of gas because we placed a battery glad tuned that were In a little cup full of water, the negative and positive charges produced different amounts of gas because one test tube has more bubbles then the other which means one had more charge then the other.

4/20 3 question blog

1. what tasks have you completed recently? Recently we have completed the endothermic and exothermic practice sheet as well as the absolute zero nova questions and video. 2.What have you learned recently? Recently we have learned about endothermic and exothermic 3.what are you planning on doing next to improve my understanding? I plan too study my notes on endothermic and exothermic alittle more just to increase my knowledge of this subject.

How do things like the concentration, size and temperature choose the speed of the reaction? In model 3, we placed 3 different glow sticks in 3 separate beackers. One hot, one cold, and one at room tempature. The glow stick that was in the hot beacker glad up almost automatically. The room temperature glow stick was second and the cold stick was third. It occurred this way because the hot beaker has allot more particles and allot more active then the cold or the room temperature. Another example could be example #2, in one experiment we crushed the seltzer and put it into water. And we did another experiment not crushing up seltzer and took allot longer to dissolve.

3 question blog 4/6

1.what tasks have you completed recently? Recently we have completed the reactions rate explore lab, and did the drawings with the little time we had. 2.. What have you learned recently? Recently we learned learned how temperature might effect the speed of something desolving. 3.what are you planning on doing next to improve my understanding? I plan to make sure that I ask questions in class and try to understand it more then actually just getting it done.

3 question 3/1.

1. Recently in class we finished the hydrate post lab question and the empirical formula not half sheet. 2. Recently in class we learned how to calculate molar mass of each element and the % of each element. 3.I plan to work on more equations that improve my understanding of molar mass and % of the element. 3 question blog 2/16

1. I have worked on equations in class with the class to help us to get better at them. 2.molar mass equations, calculations, also learned how to solve and set up the equations with the correct answers. 3. I definitely think I need to ask more questions in class allot of the time when I don't understand something I don't really speak up about it. I'll definitely try to ask more.

Mark Rodriguez 1st period 2/12/18 1. what question were you trying to answer? Do average masses of different beans really equal standard quantity 2.what did you do during your investigations and why did you conduct it n this way? During our investigation we got multiple different types of  beans and we came up with data such as mass, relative mass, and average mas. 3. claim - yes, average masses of beans do equal a standard quantity justification - we think its a standard quantity because all the numbers are either 19, 20, 21. relative mass is the ratio of average mass and how many times the bigger mass  goes into the smaller mass.
